Introducing Zest and NuLids

We are excited to announce that our Cheadle and Congleton stores now offer Zest and NuLids Pro treatments for blepharitis and dry eyes. To show the difference these treatments make, all patients will receive complimentary before and after photographs.

Zocular Eyelid System Technology (ZEST) is exclusively distributed by The Body Doctor Ltd and supported by clinical trials. ZEST addresses the buildup of deposits and bacteria on the eyelid margins, which can cause dry eye symptoms. These deposits can block the meibomian glands, preventing oil release and triggering inflammation. Thorough cleansing of the eyelid margins removes the debris that causes inflammation, providing relief for dry eyes and blepharitis.

ZEST is a gentler and highly effective alternative to BlephEx, using a patented Okra-based system to offer immediate, long-lasting relief. ZEST gel and special foam applicators bind and lift debris from the eyelid margin, removing the biofilm that contributes to inflammation, redness, and dry, flaky skin.

Treatment typically takes 20-30 minutes, depending on the presence of bacterial or Demodex infestation. Clinicians and patients have been impressed with how quickly and thoroughly ZEST works and clinical trials have shown improvement within minutes, especially in the tolerance of contact lens wear.

It’s particularly helpful for those who don’t have access to a microwave oven for heating their antibacterial eye compress.
